After dropping his “Rules and Parameters” project a few months back, Rochester native POUNDS is back with a brand new EP titled “Borgata”. The 4 track EP is a collaboration between the emcee and producer Oh No, who crafts all the beats on the aforementioned EP. Together, POUNDS and Oh No have crafted a raw and cinematic EP that’s brimming with vivid imagery over soulful loops.

While the project is short, it definitely packs a punch and serves as an interim project for his core fans. Lyrically Pounds is vivid with the pen game on cuts like “Last Supper” where he spits “How the f*ck you bragging when your captain ain’t fed?”, or on instant standout “448 Grams Pt. 2,” which includes lines like “I just slip through the fingers of the task force.”. Nothing is forced here and no punches were held as the gruff-voiced emcee completely demolishes the soundscapes offered to him.

Borgata is now available for stream via Audiomack and   Bandcamp

Tracklist:

01. The Intro

02. Last Supper (Cuts by Tim Tones)
