Emerging rap/R&B artist NY Teez makes his debut on TWIB with two joints from his arsenal. The two tracks “Late Flights” and “We Got That” is what we will look at tonight.
“Late Flights” is the first joint on deck and it is very moody and serene. The pads are lush and somewhat solemn but the song is far from being melancholic as NY Teez delivers a melodic performance that showcases his hybrid style. The track sees him from a perspective of being in love and ready to do anything for the girl in question. The production is refreshing and soothing and his vocals are rich as well so thus make for a great evening soulful jam

The second track “We Got That” has a more upbeat feel with its head-nodding groove and bright keys and horns. he delivers his verses with more of a rap style on this one and keeps the chorus melodic as usual. I love the west coast funk synth used on this one too and sure makes it alluring while showcasing the rapper’s wide range of styles.

NY Teez started releasing music in the spring of 2019 and dropped his first single “Don’t Wanna Talk About It” April 5th. Followed by releasing his first-ever EP entitled April 26th. Most recently dropping his second EP of the year entitled “Strange Boy Strange World” NY Teez is looking to become a name to remember in the next couple of years.
