New Jersey based musician and composer, Mike Noordzy introduces us to his band Noordzo and what they have come to create. When you think off the effect soundtracks give certain moments in movies, then these musical pieces should remind you of that. The sounds as described by the band (and I do agree with them) is in the space of ‘psychedelic witch jazz’. When you want to clear your head or you just want to be in a familiar yet unfamiliar space, this project, Shark Funeral Songbook, will be a great accompaniment. Something about the bass as concurrent in all the pieces really does get me to be honest. It is actually free to download on the streaming site provided so bump up your collection and check out even more from Noordzo.
