Risisng hip hop sensation Melanin 9 is here with a video for the track Heartless Island. The grimy pictorial depicts the hardcore essence of the song. I was more taken by the abstract lyrics and the beats than the actual video itself because the beat took me to a different zone entirely. Yes all three men on the track can rap but it gets to a point where you simply are lost to the lyrics and it is the beats as produced by jehst that carry you through to the end. It is quite a good song still and Melanin 9 is definitely one to watch out and Triple Darkness did good too.
