Matt Wilde is a Mancunian keyboardist and producer who caught our ears with his new release titled “Awkward”

The record is a piano-driven piece that is ripe with punchy drums with tight grooves, pulsating basslines, and horns (courtesy of Aaron Wood) to match. This is a true blend of jazz, hip-hop, and soul steeped in Wilde’s own unique style. It’s quite bright and gives off an uplifting and hopeful vibe that we all can dive into to soothe our minds from the craziness of this pandemic.

The track is taken from his forthcoming EP, Believe in Things, due out on Root Records in May 2021.
