MAS1A One is a woman of many talents. From Entrepreneurship, Songwriting, to being an  Arts Educator, and Creative Director and rapper she has pushed the boundaries when it comes to her innate skill as an entertainer. As she prepares to usher in a new visual wave for the year 2019 she hit us up with the visual for her song “FYAH”. The bright pop record is actually her homage to the city of Kingston in Jamaica where she wrote and recorded the song. After a chance meeting with Suns of Dub’s Ras Jammy and Addis Pablo (Son of Dub legend Augustus Pablo), Masia One was captured by the depth and intimate vibrations of this dub rhythm and began penning words to her song “FYAH”.

The visuals were shot entirely in the hills of Baguio, Philippines by Canadian director Mark Valino. The overall aesthetic is organic and free-spirited, 2 essential themes that draw from the song’s message of not forgetting who you really are.

“FYAH” is taken from MAS1A ONE’s acclaimed debut album ‘Far East Empress’ out now and serves as a solid follow up on her previous single ‘Oh Na Na’.
