Marcey Yates and XOBOI return to TWIB with the visuals for their single “Fruit SNX which sees them working with Conny Franko. Backed by Marcey Yates’s chilled, soulful backdrop the trio share their candid thoughts on balancing needs and wants. Each emcee takes time to reflect on their individual struggles as they go through their daily routines and hopefully they find a deeper meaning to the craziness.

The Zach Wallinger-directed video is shot at a local grocery store where Marcey Yates and Conny Franko take on the role of workers whilst XOBOI plays the typical customer trope. It’s quite engaging and works well with the lyrics that relay the poignant message of never giving up even when the grind is tough.

“Fruit SNX” is taken from Culxr House: Freedom Summer project. Get it here. Available digitally and via a limited edition vinyl run, 50% of the album’s profits will be shared between the artists involved, with the other 50% donated directly to the Culxr House venue that brought this project to life.
