Prolific producer/instrumentalist Lyric Ensemble returns to our website with her brand new release “When God is Ready.” The track is an energetic and cinematic piece that traverses different sounds, and genres. It starts with discordant chords that evoke 8-bit video games before soaring into a hard-hitting drum groove-driven beat with moody textures and continues to introduce new sounds progressively. The use of dark orchestral elements is quite interesting and it reminds me of the classic Castlevania games from the 90s.
