L’Orange – The Quiet Room

L’Orange delivers his latest video from the excellent LP Mad Writer for the single ‘The Quiet Room’. I always love the quiet irony of someone named after such a vivid colour conducting his style in noire and ‘The Quiet Room‘ builds on that motif. Charming illustrations avec un peu de l’orange, the video fits in perfectly with the track’s mystique and dusty, raw sound. Who says instrumentals can’t tell a story? So go check the visuals and if you haven’t yet purchase The Mad Writer via Bandcamp – link after the jump – or head to his website to get the mega-boxset.

The Mad Writer
got lost
in his own head,
so he ate his way out.
