Rising Canadian artist Kurst started writing poetry at a young age and slowly gravitated towards music as a way to express himself. His new release titled “Dreaming” is a reflective and introspective record that sees Kurst looking deep within as he tries to find success. Over a sombre and solemn backdrop made up of moody vocals and somewhat melancholic keys, Kurst details the emotions and tenacity of someone who knows there is more to life than what he was presented but the catch is one has to break from the comfort zone to fully realize one’s potential.
The moniker Kurst is actually an acronym for King Under Really Stressful Times, and was inspired during a difficult time in the artist’s life.
