Multi-talented act Kay Sade makes her debut on TWIB with her new self-rpoduced single “Patterns” which signals her intention to venture forward as a solo act. She was a former member of the hip-hop/r&b duo TheKnuBlack and made her bones as a singer/rapper/producer. The New Jersey native delivers her melodious verses with a whole lot of catchiness over the ethereal texture but looking beyond the alluring energy, the message behind the song is quite gripping and thought-provoking. “Patterns” sees the rising act describe the experience of living inside of a matrix, becoming aware of it and wanting to enlighten others who are unaware to its reality, all the while knowing that the truth often leads to offense and retaliation.
