UK singer JONES shares the video for her new single “Around” featuring co-writer/guitarist Nardeydey who also provides backing vocals. The soothing backdrop ripe with lush and dreamy textures and soft grooves forms the perfect foundation for JONES’ sublime melodic runs that seamlessly cascade the ears. The summer vibes are pronounced on this one and JONES reflects on the good times from a somber perspective.
The video is helmed by director Lorenzo Sorbini who employs great use of excellent storyboarding and fewer performance shots to tell a story of love in the summertime. It follows the lives of two women as they each prepare to meet a new love interest and the inner anxiety they feel makes things a bit on the edge. “Around” is a single from JONES’ forthcoming EP Blue Sunshine.
