J. Cole‘s new album, Born Sinner, has been getting a lot of buzz lately, especially now that it is closing in on Kanye’s Yeezus album sales. One of the tracks on the album, called Let Nas Down, tells the tale about him being a huge fan of Nas, and how he struggled with the news that No I.D. told him that Nas wasn’t feeling his then hit single.
One morning he and a couple of folks ran into Nas at the airport on an early flight to Los Angeles, and luckily enough, J Cole was able to seize the opportunity to let the God’s Son hear this track:

According to an interview J. Cole did with Devi Dev, the response was in the making for about two weeks, right before Born Sinner was released. In fact, album is in stores right now, so cop that!
