“Turn It On (For Me)” is the newest record from production duo Misha, cocabona, and singer/songwriter Harry Linacre. The track was first heard at a live performance at London’s Jazz Cafe in 2025, where the three collaborators first met in person. It’s a culmination of an early remote collaboration, which started with some instrumentals from Misha and cocabona and Linacre finding the right sound and adding his unique vocal and topline to form the foundation of this excellent soul/R&B love jam. The production has a warm and blissful feel, reminiscent of Maxwell’s earlier neo soul sound but with an European twist. Over the smooth, bouncy and atmospheric pads, Linacre cruises with his soft velvety melodic runs, layered harmonies and sultry lyrics like “Turn it on for me/Girl you know how I like it/She’s so wrong for me/I like to play with fire/(She’s burning).

“Turn It On (For Me)” proves to be another belt on their notches as the musical duo continue to raise the standard in modern R&B/soul infused cuts.
