Fnonose and GOLDLY are two producers from Norway who team up to work on an EP titled zanzibar. The producers are actually blood brothers who fuse their individual skills for this solid output.

The first cut titled “july 17” is a solemn, alluring piece made up of lush smooth guitars that rise into a somewhat melancholic climax as the drums come in. The overall beat is very reflective and will definitely engage listeners and soothe their ears with its crisp and heartwarming texture. Fnonose adds that he wrote it to celebrate a special day in his life when he and his wife got together and the beat helps encapsulate his deepest emotions at that time.

The second track titled “San Junipero” has a retro-tinged vibe with its sublime guitar riffs and smooth funky bassline. This beat has a more uplifting feel and it’s also soothing as well. Towards the end of the song, Fnonose closes it with a solid guitar solo that really seals the deal.
