London, UK-raised rapper Dyloco caught our ears and eyes with his latest release titled “The State Of It All”. The track is as insightful and thought-provoking as it gets with its social-political breakdown and incisive lyricism that looks at the growing divide between the ruling class and the masses. Backed by a scenic and ominous soundscape made up of sombre horn riffs, dark pads and punchy drum grooves, Dyloco questions the hypocritical actions of the elites and the system that they set to keep everyone else under their proverbial boots. Dyloco doesn’t shy away from pouring out his frustrations with the way things are going and he definitely hit the mark with this one.
The song comes with a cinematic visual that captures the rapper in his element as he deliver his lines while watching numerous clips of events, the ruling class and how life has truly changed under this faltering regime.
