UK singer/rapper/songwriter Dré Six and Berlin-based music producers KitschKrieg unveil their latest effort, “Slipping Away.” The dark and moody piece comprises plucky synths with a pulsating bassline and sparse downtempo grooves underpinned by insightful bars about growth, tribulations and the immense pressures of balancing success in the industry and the allure of street life. Dré Six leads the charge with his expressive melodic flow and heartfelt songwriting that underscores the stress of the never-ending grind to secure the bag, followed by Kenzo str8 Drop‘s intense and grimy bars about the dangers of the streets.

The song is taken from KITSCHKRIEG and Dré Six’s collaborative album, London’s Calling.

The album is an 11-track exploration of Dré Six’s artistic evolution, where his roots in acoustic, introspective R&B meet a bold dive into new sonic territory. Fusing Rap, Trap, Reggae, R&B, and Drum & Bass, the album showcases his range and confidence as he steps beyond his comfort zone. Featuring an impressive lineup of UK rap heavyweights including Morrisson, 163Margs, and Kenzo Str8Drop, London’s Calling is a natural progression and a statement of intent from an artist unafraid to push boundaries.
