As the NYC rap duo of Darkim Be Allah and Endemic Emerald announce their forthcoming album Antediluvian King, they open up the floodgates with their new single “God of the Universe .” The gritty track showcases dope lyricism laced with God-body references and also a solid feature from Fresno’s finest Planet Asia.

The track perfectly gives us a taste of what to expect from the entire album, which is packed with lyrically charged rhymes from Darkim and ingenious sample-flipping production from Endemic. “God of the Universe” also proves just how perfectly these two artists complement each other, particularly on a musical level. Darkim is quite unapologetic on the track with lines like “Went to church, got brainwashed they called it grace” while Planet Asia closes it up on a grand note with “How you at church knowing the black man is God of the universe?

“God of the Universe” is available now through all digital retailers and streaming platforms, and can be purchased for instant-grat off the album pre-order landing via iTunes and Bandcamp.
