Veteran emcee Copywrite pays homage to his fallen comrade Camu Tao in his latest single titled “Silence”. The song is actually produced by the late Camu Tao himself and it was only right for Copywrite to dedicate it to his memory. The production has a gritty and cinematic feel that may be perfect for a battle rap track but Copywrite flips it with a heartfelt and bravado-laden performance ripe with vivid stories of his friendship with the late rapper/producer and all the ups and downs they have been through. The accompanying visual captures Copywrite’s energetic style and splices it with archive videos of a younger Copywrite, Camu tao and the rest of the squad.

The song can be found on Copy’s latest album “The High Exhaulted II: Scene One” via Man Bites Dog Records Bandcamp. Check it out now on all platforms!
