Brad Hester‘s debut EP Far From Finished starts off with a gritty street banger  “Static”. The opener sets the high energy, lyrical onslaught tone that can be heard throughout the EP. The BX based emcee brings his personal story tot he forefront for the listeners to get familiar with. He slows it down on the following tracks “Chain Reaction” and “It is what it is” where he gives us an insight into his day to day over smooth, trap backdrops. He raises the heat a bit on “2 HYPE”, where he kicks bars and gems at the same time. On the last track which is the title track of the EP, he delivers a profound personal tale over a cinematic backdrop bringing the EP to a resounding end.

Boasting deep lyrics, solid cinematic backdrops and a relatable charm, Brad Hester is definitely one to look out for. He has opened for artists such as Dyme-A-Duzin, Vic Mensa amongst others. An elevator technician by day and a social media manager/hip hop recording artist by night, Brad will continue to market himself until his night job becomes a full-time lucrative career.
