Adi Oasis (f/k/a Adeline) is not new to us and has thrilled us with explosive retro-tinged R&B/soul pieces over the years alongside her numerous collaborations with acts such as Yakul, Jafunk, Joshua J. The French-Caribbean juggernaut is currently working on her upcoming album but in the meantime, she shares the new single “Get it Got it” which serves as the lead single. The funk-infused tune sees her reflecting on her self-growth and experiences as a young lady finding her true north. The record is written as a letter from her younger self to her current self, this track’s goal is to make us remember our dreams and what we truly want. 

Her performance is engaging and unapologetic as the melodies pile up and rise to a plateau on the chorus sections all underpinned by the rousing multi-layered production filled with rich horns, rumbling drums, pulsating horns and warm keys to boot.

Adi Oasis also produces under the moniker Night Shade with her partner Morgan Wiley (Midnight Magic, Jessica 6). Their first cut for another artist was the sun-drenched summer jam “Mango” for Atlantic Records artist Kamauu, which also features Adeline on vocals and bass.
