UK producer Benny Brassic raises the energy levels on the playlist with “Slap Dat.” The track blends modern jazz with retro boombap aesthetics that rappers can easily flow on.

 

Flapjaques – “louisville loop”.

Flapjaques switches up the mood on the playlist with “Louisville Loop,” a cienmatic piece that feels like a ride through the busy city streets during the day. The fusion of strings, slick piano chords and mellow drum breaks all come together like peas in a pod.

 

Hary.BoY x lst drm – “beyond the veil”.

Prolific producer Hary.BoY and lst drm return to our weekend instrumental playlist with “beyond the veil.” The track has a solemn pad, a slick guitar lick and soft groves that play off each other as the song moves along.

Kitsuji – “A Walk Through the Silence”.

 

Estonia-based music producer Kitsuji takes us on “A Walk Through the Silence” in their latest output. The track is punctuated by slow piano plucks, sparsely arranged guitar licks with warm pads and soft grooves, all adding to the depth and emotional punch in the track.

Ryan Walker x Rosa Moln x Vidalima – “stars falling”.

 

“Stars Falling” is a cross-country endeavour that brings together producers from India, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The trio Ryan Walker, Rosa Moln, and Vidalima craft a soul stirring lofi piece that evokes sadness and lonely moments.

 

HSYRM x Silent Orbit x Oddability – “Bridge”

 

“Bridge” is a lofi/jazz piece crafted by HSYRM, Silent Orbit, and Oddability, resulting in a horn-driven jam that is reflective and warm.

 

PalandBeatz x yiobe – “snowfall”.

German producers PalandBeatz and Yiobe connect in the studio to bring us “snowfall,” and we just had to include this on the playlist. The track has a recurring soulful motif, pulsating bass-driven drum groove and atmsopheric textures that create a blissful vibe for listeners.

 

Chill4est x DertyLee – “Between Pages”.

Chill4est and DertyLee deliver “Between Pages,” a mellow, soulful piece that evokes good memories and solemn moments. From the slick guitar plucks, natural ambient, soft grooves and bright keys, the duo craft the perfect ode to nostalgia.

 

Yamirah´s Solar Explorers – “Flying”

Yamirahs Solar Explorers deliver “Flying,” a multi-genre and progressive track that is layered, scenic and energetic. The drums have a tribal, punchy feel, while the use of jazz elements alongside modern soul and pop stylings adds to the track’s flair and dynamics.

 

 

Steve Nguyen – “Astra Lumina”.

Steve Nguyen‘s “Astra Lumina” is a blissful and relaxing track that encapsulates nostalgia, warm memories and thoughts. The keys are punchy, and the soft, warm tones all work perfectly with the shimmering keys and progression of the track.

 

Simber x Myríad – “The Odd Day”.

The final track on this week’s playlist comes courtesy of  Simber and Myríad, who team up for “The Odd Day.” The horns are prevalent, the textures are solemn and relaxing, and the punchy drums add that extra oomph to the track. The result is reminiscent of a midsummer’s dream that takes away the sorrows of listeners. A perfect way to end this week’s playlist if you asked us.
