Belgian rapper/producer James Frida( real name Jeroen Bossee) brings a refreshing sound to our notice with his new release titled “kids.” The track fuses elements of hip-hop, contemporary pop/R&B with experimental sounds underpinned by insightful and thought-provoking lyrics. Armed with a raw and visceral rap style and smooth melodic skills, James Frida traverses the lines between rapper and singer as he dissects modern society through his lens. Lines like

Out of reach, out of sight, out of mind
I don’t see it trickle down, I just see it reach new heights
Entitled motherfuckers try to silence all the raucous
Think they got us by the bollocks
But it’s times like these we flourish

underscore his views as he shares his frustrations on how life has turned out. However, he is not faded but rather hopeful that folks will see the light before it’s too late.
