Singer/songwriter Sophia B enters our site with her new single “Mr. Wrong,” a heartfelt ballad about heartbreak. Teaming with New Music Ensemble Alumni, and multi-instrumentalists, Kenji Golden (Matter of Minutes Band) and Steven Mejia, Sophia B crafts a heartwarming R&B/soul-pop infused number that is ripe with soul-stirring melodies and profound songwriting. The inspiration for the song came from a private conversation she had with her mother about what her grandpa used to say about men who appear to be too perfect. In a nutshell, heartbreak often comes from the blindside and the so-called ones who appear to be “Mr. Right”
She won Best Original Music in Munich, American Tracks Music Awards, Global Music Awards, and Cannes Shorts for Best Composers.
