“HERE” is the debut single from UK producer/songwriter Luke Champion who steps into the limelight from behind the boards. The self-produced single sees him teaming with emerging rapper half pipe who delivers a heartfelt and poignant performance with lines like
“Consisting of letting go for growth and holding onto the moment
See me constantly evolving
And cigarette rolling
Walking into thrift stores looking like I owned them
I’m laying off the potent, man the sober fits better than the old
I know I can’t sew up a hole if it’s outgrown”
“HERE” is a smooth fusion of soul, lofi and hip-hop and evokes pure nostalgia and emotions from start to finish.
