New Jersey rapper Buddhakai has been doing his thing for a while now, from appearing on a D&D Project II in the early 2000s to releasing his debut LP in 2013. The rapper is presently back doing what he loves the most and delivers this new hard-hitting track “Overcomer” that details his current state of mind.

Backed by the somber and somewhat cinematic beat courtesy of  Gallo Locknez, Buddhakai taps into his own experiences to deliver an uplifting record for those who are going through hard times. As an individual who has been through dark times, he is more than equipped to speak o the matter and implores listeners to believe in themselves regardless of the situation.
