Patrick Brown aka Studio_Dad delivers his fourth single titled “100 Yard dash” as he prepares to launch his new project later. The single in question sees him working with legendary Jamaican reggae and dancehall artiste Bounty Killer and his fellow Text Me Records’ label mates MVCK and Tia Nomore. Over a hi-octane futuristic backdrop, the trio come through with their individual styles as Bounty Killer keeps it gully as expected while MVCK and Nomore switch it up with their fiery rap flows.

“100 Yard Dash” is taken from the Text Me Records’ upcoming mixtape  Group Chat Vol.2, a real mix of the Text Me Records crew, mostly written at a writing camp at Different Fur with 3-4 features on each track.

Patrick Brown is the owner of iconic San Francisco recording studio Different Fur, the birth-place of numerous Grammy-award winning albums.  As an engineer, Studio_Dad  has worked with the likes of Toro y Moi, KFlay, Beat Connection, The Morning Benders, Lee Fields, and hundreds of others. In 2014 a collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Rob Pera under the name WOOF lead to a mixtape produced by the two including rappers and singers like Mykki Blanco, Tragik, and G-Side.
