60 East‘s  newest release “I Remember” is a heartfelt single that dives into the death of his friend Space Ghost, who unfortunately lost his life to gun violence in the mid-2000s.

The track is quite harrowing as 60 East carefully takes us down memory lane and shares a plethora of experiences up to his death. They both have a shared history with Ghost being a rapper on 60 East’s older brother’s record label at the time. Over Phil The Pain‘s haunting solemn backdrop, 60 East gives his own side of the story and his relationship with Ghost who encouraged him to keep writing amongst other things. The lyrics are vivid and passionate too and sure show a different side of 60 East.
