WATCH: De La Soul’s classic ‘Buddy’ video (which features The Native Tongues) 

For those of you who have grown up in the 90s (or anyone that appreciates that era in music), this event is definitely for YOU. I’m pretty sure that you guys at home are definitely familiar with the members of the Native Tongues, with J Dilla (RIP) being one of the newer members of the tribe. Anyways, this event will be taking place at SOB’s in New York, and the tickets are currently $20. Guest DJ of the night will be legend DJ Red Alert (who you seen in the video above).

Im curious to know why are the folks listed as ‘special invited guests’? And if Charlie Brown comes, will Busta Rhymes… ehh… never mind.
