Wic Whitney‘s new single “Indie Film,” is a satirical and tongue-in-cheek look at the folks who come to LA to chase their dreams and the impact of the city on the dreamers themselves. Backed by a reggae-tinged backdrop with soul elements, Wic Whitney delivers a heartfelt and somewhat playful performance ripe with truths and stories of dreamers who often get lost in the sauce as they continue to grind towards their goals. He also uses L.A as a character who swallows its inhabitants as they slowly become the beast they fought against. Through the hardships and setbacks, Whitney points out the hypocrisy and fakeness of the city.

“Indie Film” is taken from his new album, Foolhardy.
