Emerging emcee WattzSun blends gritty hip-hop with top-down shooter elements in his latest release, “Stratagems.” The track was inspired by the popular game Helldivers 2 and is produced by Supafly Nickels, who crafts a moody and punchy boombap backdrop for WattzSun to wax lyrical about his favourite video game.

Armed with his laidback and commanding flow and lines like

He takes listeners deep into the Helldivers world, where a force of shock troops is dispatched to combat various threats to humanity and to spread managed democracy.
