Di$tinct x Merkules x Kevin Rudolf x 5 Fires – “SOUL”

 

“SOUL” is the first-ever collaboration between Merkules (Death Row Records) and  Kevin Rudolf (Cash Money Records), and in turn makes a landmark with the inclusion of rising Alberta, Canada-based rapper Di$tinct and  Cash Money signee 5 Fires. The result is a resounding piece that explores self-doubt, loss and growth.

Rising NY rapper who goes by the moniker Bookkeeper141 unveils “Book Against The World.” The cinematic story driven track sees the emcee breaking down the street codes while weaving through the craziness of the wold world.

 

 

BREIS- “Perfect Night”

Veteran UK rapper BREIS  returns with “Perfect Night,” a vibrant and heartfelt love song about creating that perfect night with the special someone as love blossoms. The production is slick, polished and BREIS’s excellent story telling keeps listeners engaged from start to finish. Stream on all DSPs here.

DOWORK x STRIPE – “Better Man”.

Netherlands-based artists DOWORK and STRIPE team up for “Better Man,” a heartwarming and introspective trakc about growth. Over a solemn piano arrnagement, the emcee deliver a relatable tale of self assessment and development.

 

Miles Gaines x Fashawn – “Palm Trees”.

Emerging West coast emcee Miles Gaines connects with Fashawn for “Palm Trees.” The track is a soulful summer west coast California jam that takes listeners into their respective stomping grounds.

 

 

RuggAmore – “La Carte De Amor”

 

Uprising rapper/songwriter RuggAmore pens a heartfelt letter for all the significant women in his  life on the new single “La Carte De Amor.” Over a smooth piano and lush R&B vibes, the rapper delivers an uplifiting and inisghtful message for all the women who deserve the best.

 

 

 

TheMansNigel – “Killer 7 “(feat. Neph)

Rising rapper TheMansNigel shares his new single “Killer 7 ” off his new album, Surprise Its Doomsday 2. The track is a drumless piece with a looming synth sample and solemn strings underpinned by off-kilter raps. He is also joined by fellow artist Neph.

 

Bowza – “Cold”

UK rapper Bowza enters our playlist with “Cold,” a lyric-dense piece that personifies low temperature. Over a punchy boom-bap backdrop comprising moody samples with a scratched hook, the emcee flows effortlessly using cold-related metaphors which enhances his lyrical proficiency.

 

Joznez – “Fast Life”

Swamp Thing – “Midnight Dangerous” (feat. Ghettosocks)

“Midnight Dangerous” is the latest release from Toronto’s three-headed rap monster, Swamp Thing (Timbuktu, Chokeules, and Savilion) and Ghettosocks. The track is a menacing and hard-hitting cut that evokes the spooky season and gives off a spine chilling feel. Each emcee step into the forefront and deliver a tandem of unfiltered, off-the-cuff raps that will leave the soft hearted shaking in their boots.

Nec Nymbl x Memphis Reigns – “The Pen” (feat. Sankofa & Broken Sword)

As Nec Nymbl and Memphis Reigns prepare for their forthcoming LP, they deliver the third single “The Pen” featuring Sankofa and Broken Sword. The guitar-driven track explores the emotional stress that came with a fragile relationship that couldn’t weather the storm. The vocal style is sultry and evokes that classic Neo-Soul vibe and the storytlling is vivid as well.
