Kidd Called Quest x Ken-C – “Premo Feel”.
St. Paul, MN emcee Ken-C and NY producer Kidd Called Quest continue their music collaboration with “Premo Feel.” The track is a homage to the great DJ Premier whose Birthday is on March 21. The track has a mellow string sample with bass-driven grooves underpinned by Ken-C’s smooth flow and insightful rhymes.
F4TE – “guess that i was right”.
Emerging rapper/songwriter F4TE enters our playlist with his first single “guess that i was right.” The track serves as an introduction for fans who are given a glimpse into his life and he struggles he faced to get to this point.
Shmoney Doll – “Personal Vendetta”
Shmoney Doll is in her element in her new single “Personal Vendetta.” The aptly titled track is a bold statement from the rising rapper who sends darts and warning shots tom the detractors and naysayers. Overa cinematic soundscape with anthemic strings and brass stabs, she proceeds to state unapologetically state her thoughts.

Houston, TX-based rapper/songwriter dizza jedi enters our playlist with his new single “seen it all.” Backed by a soulful and nostalgia-inducing backdrop, the rapper delivers a heartfelt and introspective performance ripe with vivid lyrics.

The Black Abstract and legendary duo Zhané team up for“Sent Love” which repurposes their classic tune of the same name and sees The Black Abstract expressing his feelings over a smooth, soulful soundscape. The track is taken from The Black Abstract’s latest EP Industry Ready.

Yoji‘s newest track “The Art Of Letting Go” is a mid-tempo R&B piece that explores the concept of going with the flow and not trying to control every single event. The production has that classic late 90s, early 2000s feel and its brimming with rich melodies with Yoji’s commanding vocals. She embodies the spirit of a go-getter who discovers the art of letting go and allowing the universe to work its magic. “The Art of Letting Go” is part of a two single release from Yoji, the second being “Gotta Get Out.”

Big Dese – “Melt”.
Big Dese and Confidence return with their new single “Melt,” featuring Boston rapper Oak Lonetree. The track is a smooth boombap banger with no-holds-barred lyricism from all parties and of course, a classic vocal scratch chorus to close the deal. “Melt” is the second single from the forthcoming Big Dese and Confidence album Kool Moe Dese to drop on Below System Records. The first leak was “Strike Back”.
Bobby Wolf x Seefu McCloud x Sponatola x DI-VINE – “Salvador Dali”
“Salvador Dali” is a posse cut from Bobby Wolf, Seefu McCloud , Sponatola and DI-VINE , who all hail from the Tampa Bay area. Over a cinematic and hard-hitting backdrop, the emcees bring their A-game with raw, unapologetic lyrics. The album EP will be released on Mar 28th.
Jalen Chords – “signs (sportmode)”
Emerging singer/songwriter Jalen Chords caught our ears with his latest single “signs (sportmode).” A mid-tempo R&B jam with bouncy grooves and rich melodic textures, Jalen Chords delivers a soul-stirring performance ripe with sublime vocal runs and a catchy hook.

LA-based, London born artist Jay Prince links with UK singer/songwriter Estelle and US emcee/producer Oddisee for his new single “Solitude.” The track is a heartfelt and introspective piece that explores self-love, recognizing one’s true strength and the process of self-discovery through solitude. The production blends modern neo-soul with jazz and of course rich rap sensibilities underpinned by unapologetic and relatable lyrics from the emcees.
