Paris-born soul singer/songwriter Tiwayo is preparing for his new album Outsider, which is scheduled for an April 10 release, but in the interim, he reveals his new single “Sunshine Lady.” The track is the follow-up to his previous release, “Up For Soul,” which caught our undivided attention earlier this year.
“Sunshine Lady” is an uplifting feel-good track written for his significant other. Backed by Jay Mumford‘s sturdy drum groove, thick pulsating bassline by Terin Moswen Hector, and of course, Tiwayo’s emotionally powerful vocal performance, audiences are treated to that classic Southern-soul/funk-infused sound that evokes warmth and nostalgia. The track carries on Tiwayo’s old school musicality, where everything has a unique touch, and thanks to his band, they crafted such an awesome, soul-stirring and timeless piece that commemorates true love.
