After thrilling fans with his retro blue-eyed soul compositions and engaging visuals for his recent singles, Paris-born soul singer/songwriter Tiwayo returns with “Unchained Lovers.” The track is a brilliant duet with Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Kendra Morris, and it’s a celebration of untethered love and a nod to vintage soul music duets. The production has a solemn and warm atmosphere, which finds rich guitar licks melting with progressive soulful keys and soft drum grooves. As the title suggests, the track dives into layered vocal runs that find Tiwayo and Morris playing tag with their vocalizations.
