Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we look at some exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, through the 90s and 2000s, and it has taken flight from multi-million dollar budget music videos to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals that pop up on our radar.

Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

JayWood – “ASSUMPTIONS”

Canadian singer/songwriter JayWood shares visuals for his single “ASSUMPTIONS,” an uplifting piece that blends playfulmelodic flows and apsirational lyrics with a dash of bravado. The accompanying visual by Trent Wayne is trippy, psychedelic and bright as we see JayWood in his element. The song is taken from his forthcoming album, Leo Negro, due for release September 5, 2025 on Captured Tracks.

 

 

KSI – “Catch Me If You Can”

 

KSI continues his anyhemic music releases with the latest being “Catch Me If You Can.” The aspirational and self-affirmative theme drives the track as we witness KSI in his element armed with his distintcive melodic flow and undeniable charisma. The accompanying visual directed by Troy Roscoe, raise the ante with futuristic setting that sees KSI riding flying cars equipped with state of the art features like hyper speed.

 

CatchTwentyTwo – “At All Times” (Prod. CatchTwentyTwo)

Eclectic and genre-bending artist CatchTwentyTwo returns with his new single “At All Times” and it comes with a performance styled visual. The future R&B/dance infused track is a self-produced track that evokes 80s vibes and is underpinned by sublime melodic runs and heartfelt lyrics that is adulation-filled. “At All Times” is the third single from his forthcoming project Exxxtreme Disco, his fourth EP.

 

Statik Selektah, Westside Gunn, Joey Bada$$, Rome Streetz, & Stove God Cooks “The Louvre”

 

Veteran producer/DJ Statik Selektah unveils the visuals for his posse cut, “The Louvre.” Backed by his signature crunchy drums and slick textures, he recruits the help of  Westside Gunn, Joey Bada$$, Rome Streetz, and Stove God Cooks and the result is a stylish lyrical ensemble. The visuals do compliment the track with an exquisite aesthetic that captures each rapper in their rare form up in different spots including the eponymous location. “The Louvre” is the first single from Statik Selektah’s highly anticipated album, Expensive Taste, which will be released later this year.

 

 

Tiwa Savage – “you4me”

 

Nigerian pop star Tiwa Savage drops the visuals for her new single  “you4me,” a track lifted from her fourth studio album, This One Is Personal. The track is a smooth and laidback jam that showcases her distinct sultry vocal runs and knack for penning catchy hooks while interpolating a classic R&B vocal riff into the mix. The accompanying visual was shot in London by Liam S. Gleeson, who blends eye popping effects and set pieces that brings out Tiwa Savage’s exuisite style and beauty.

 

 

 

Iris Gold – “André 3K”

Danish artist Iris Gold caught our ears and eyes with “André 3K,” a heartfelt tribute to the legendary rapper of the same name. Over a smooth slick acoustic guitar-driven backdrop, Iris Gold pens an open love letter about connecting and making babies with 3 Stacks and we are here for it. The visuals were shot in Zimbabwe by rising Zimbabwean filmmaker Praise Nkala who focuses on Gold’s laidback demeanour and distinct style to bring the song to life.
