Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we look at some exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, through the 90s and 2000s, and it has taken flight from multi-million budget music videos to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals that pop up on our radar.
Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

David Laborier – “The Smoothness of You”
Luxembourg-based producer David Laborier gifts our playlist with “The Smoothness of You.” The guitar-laden track is bolstered by rich layered tetxures, prevalent guitar riffs that rise to a plateau on the chorus while keeping ears glued throughout the laidback verse sections.
VannDa – “GOLDEN LAND”.
Cambodia-based super star rapper VannDa caught our ears and eyes with his latest release “GOLDEN LAND.” The anthemic track pays homage to the rich culture and history of Cambodia and VannDa’s struggles and mission to be the best he can be as the South Est Asian musical export. Backed by a pounding soundscape that combines modern hiphop elements with traditional Cambodian musical styles, VannDa proceeds to bare his soul on wax, rapping in his native language, he pays tribute to the Khmer people, and his mission to remind them of who they are. The accompanying visual is a gripping ciematic clip that captures Cambodia’s rich culture and especially the Khmer people’s strength, beauty and vision, all in a single, epic narrative. From sprawling eye popping set pieces, stunning choreography and emotionally striking cut scenes and aesthetics, viewers are in for a treat. “GOLDEN LAND” is taken from VannDa’s TREYVISAI III: RETURN TO SOVANNAPHUM album.
Thirstin Howl The 3rd – “Don Chicharron”
Thirstin Howl The 3rd thrills his fans with the official trailer for his short musical “Don Chicharron.” Powered by the forces of Skillusions Film in association with GoldBox Film Studios, Don Chicharron was written and directed by Thirstin Howl and directed by Stephen Box Lo Gonzalez. The result is a brilliant showcase of his versatility and longevity in the underground scene. Paying homage to classic flicks and his Latin roots

BlackLiq & Dub Sonata ft. Slug (of Atmosphere) – “People Person”
Producer/rap duo Dub Sonata and BlackLiq team up with rap veteran . Slug (of Atmosphere) for the new single “People Person.” The track is a reflective piece that explores themes of friendship, spiritual connection and life’s experiences. The visual shot in Norfolk, VA by ZooDeville is a performance based affair that captures the duo in their element. “People Person” is the third single off BlackLiq & Dub Sonata’s new album Much Given, Much Tested.
Orrlando Azteca – “Limitless” (Prod. by Anno Domini)
Orrlando Azteca unveils visuals for “Limitless,” a hard-hiting track that dives into self-discovery assessment and going against the norm to find one’s true purpose. Bolstered by the moody backdrop provided by Anno Domini, Azteca proceeds with expressive flows and heartfelt lyrics laced with unapologetic energy.
Taura Lamb – “Cravings”
Singer/songwriter Taura Lamb enters our playlist with “Cravings,” a sultry pop/R&B infused jam that explores that insatiable yearning for her lover’s touch and the aniticipation that follows. The production by Chelsea Warner is warm, summery and alluring while Lamb’s rich melodic runs help complete the job.

VIB – “Lassani”
British-Sri Lankan artist VIB enters our playlist with “Lassani,” an energetic piece fusing Singhalese and Tamil drums, underlying Afrobeats elements and sultry RnB vocals which help close the deal. The deal is a rousing love-laden number filled with adulations and heartfelt lyrics dedicated to brown beauty. The official music video brings VIB’s cultural celebration to life with stunning visuals that showcase the richness of Sri Lankan heritage and style.
Offica – “Go Mo”
Irish rapper/songwriter Offica goes for the jugular with “Go Mo,” an upbeat aspirational track that will get listeners riled up and ready to hit the gym. Offica steps to the podium over the raging bass-heavy backdrop with his laidback smooth flows laced with UK and Nigerian swag underpinned by the mission statement of breaking records. The visuals are cinematic and performance based too and highlights Offica’s stylish energy.
Footsie x Strategy – “Standard”
Footsie and Strategy recently dropped their collaborative album, Theatre of Dreams alonsgide the visuals for their hard-hitting track “Standard.” The anthemic tune comes with a cinematic visual shot by Dan Hyde (Hyde Productions) on location in Manchester and London. He brings the track to life with interesting camera angles, fast-paced cuts and smooth transitions that add to the energy of the track.
TENNIN – “Morphée”
Electic singer/songwriter TENNIN help close this week’s visuals with the visuals for her new single “Morphée.” The futuristic R&B/hiphop/pop infused cut is brimming with cinematic textures, airy angelic hums and heartwarming melodies with lyrics that explore inner struggles and the difficulties in finding peace while trying to shed the past. The visualizer is quite expressive and atmospheric and showcases TENNIN’s stylish fashion sense.
