Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we look at some exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, through the 90s and 2000s, and it has taken flight from multi-million dollar budget music videos to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals that pop up on our radar.

Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

Blacksmith x Westside Boogie – “Last Days”.

Bristol’s very own Blacksmith connects with Westside Boogie for “Last Days,” a solemn track that digs deep into the core of their being. Over a soulful backdrop with lush textures, the duo take an introspective step alongside a bit of self-assessment and a dash of gratitude as they detail the ups and downs of their careers. The visual captures both rappers in their element as they deliver insightful bars over  It’s Nyce’s sublime soundscape.

 

 

Isaiah Irahkiev – “Joyner Lucas”

 

Roxbury, MA rap artist Isaiah Irahkiev drops the visuals for “Joyner Lucas,” his new track where he raps over Joyner’s hard-hitting “Ramen & OJ” Beat. The result is a showcase of raw lyricism laced with bravado and insightful bars about resilience and pushing through everyday struggles. The visual style uses a lot of performance shots with smooth transitoons and fast-paced camera work that evokes urgency.

 

 

 

DJ Premier x Ransom – “Amazing Graces”

DJ Premier and Ransom drop the visual for “Amazing Graces,” which is the first single from the duo’s forthcoming collaborative album ,The Reinvention, which will be released on 10.31.25. The track has the vintage NY sound with thick punchy drums, spacey sample chops with depth and scenic textures which allos Ransom’s vivid lyricism to come to life. The visual style captures the duo in their element as they roll through the city and head to the lab to create more magic.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony – “Aww Shit” (Visualizer)

 

The legendary cleveland quintet Bone Thugs-N-Harmony return with the official visualizer for their single “Aww Shit.” The new track blends new age hiphop sounds with the triple time melodic flows pioneered by the rappers in the 90s and shows how versatile they can get. The AI-generated visualizer uses elements of Bone Thugs lore over the years and it’s a great clal back for staunch fans. Overall, it’s an anthemic tune that will bring in new fans and show older fans that Bone Thugs are still here.

 

 

 

JoeJas – “Last 108 Ride”

 

UK-based rapper JoeJas‘s “Last 108 Ride” is a reflective track that explores the life experience of a young man in his stomping grounds and the feelings of nostalgia stemming from growth. The visual style is trippy and dreamy and sees JoeJas playing Gappy, a character from his album, Left handed bandit.

 

 

 

Ric & Maff – “Rock The Regime” ft. Claire Ray

 Ric & Maff connects with Claire Ray in their new single “Rock The Regime.” The  genre-bending track takes elements form rap, Drum & Bass and a touch of Jungle and the result is a dynamic piece laced with social-political and empowering overtones. The emcees take turns in sharing their thoughts on real time issues followed by a smooth melodic chorus performed by Claire Ray. The visual style is shot on location in black and white which makes it quite cinematic and gives it an urgent vibe.

 

 

 

Nikki Russell – “Red Lipstick”

 

Florida-based singer and songwriter Nikki Russell‘s new single “Red Lipstick” gets the visual treatment. The female empowering and uplifting track, produced by Carlton Morgan and Mark Morrison is an unapologetic tribute to women from different backgrounds and focuses on positive affirmations and the propagation of the unique feminine qualities that make women special. Over a smooth soulful backdrop, the singer delivers a commanding performance ripe with inisghtful and heartfelt lyrics that reminds women of their beauty and power. The visual, which is shot in London, blends performance shots with women in their element with an emphasis on safe spaces where they can glow up physically and mentally.

 

 

 

 

HipHopHeaducatorz- “6ix7 (Six Seven) “

 

Canadian hiphop collective HipHopHeaducatorz, made up of Ontario Teachers who believe in the use of Hip Hop culture to inspire and engage students return with the visual for their new single “6ix7 (Six Seven).” The title is a reference to the gen alpha slang which took social media by storm. Here, the collective spin the slang into something refreshing and novel with a classic hiphop vibe. Backed by production from our very own Chase March, the emcees make numerous references with the numbers 6 and 7. From the stylized spelling to pay homage to Toronto being known as the 6ix, which can refer to the number of boroughs in the city, and the legendary area code 416 to things that happened in 1967. The visual blends visually gripping set pieces ranging from muppets to kid friendly animation and educative clips.

The Headucatorz are made up of DJs, producers, emcees, breakers and graffiti artists who are active educators across Southern Ontario. Members include A-Cubed, Chase March, I.Khan, Jon Corbin, Just Sev. Matt Dee, MikeAll, the apologette, Tigz, and Wizekrak

 

 

 

Blaqbonez x AJ Tracey – “Consistency”

 

Nigerian Afrobeats/rap star Blaqbonez connects with UK rapper AJ Tracey and together they show what “Consistency” looks like. Over a mid-tempo solemn but punchy backdrop produced by Telz and Kofo Sound, the emcees share their thoughts on longevity and what it takes on being true to their art.  BlaqBonez starts off with his playful melodic flow followed by AJ Tracey’s commanding vocal tone and together they deliver a solid cut that is both groovy and inspirational. The visual shot in the UK sees both Blaqbonez and AJ Tracey in their element as they do what they know best. The single is taken from Blaqbonez new album , No Excuses. The album rollout follows a landmark moment earlier this month when Blaqbonez became the first Nigerian artist to walk the runway for Vivienne Westwood, a milestone that cements his growing influence at the intersection of music and fashion. He was also spotted front row at Vetements, MAINS, and Labrum, underscoring his rise as one of Africa’s most exciting global style icons.

 

 

 

 

 

Big L – “u aint gotta chance” ft. Nas  (Visualizer)

 

Mass Appeal proudly announces Harlem’s Finest: Return Of The King, the forthcoming posthumous album from the late Harlem legend Big L, which will be released on Halloween, 10.31.25. The project is heralded by the new single “u aint gotta chance” featuring Queensbridge-raised lyricist Nas. The result is a raw, unfiltered lyrical masterclass between two renowned lyricist who have reshaped the rap game. Backed by a dark and cinematic soundscape that echoes the sound of the 90s, Big L lurges forward with his signature fast paced flow and wordplay-filled bars followed by a sacrtahced hook and a solid verse from Nas to close the deal. The visuals capture old clips of Big L in the 90s before he was tragically gunned down and its a testament to his long lasting leagacy which was rejuvenated when rawkus released his first posthumous album, The Big Picture in the early 2000s.
