The last time we heard from Ramaj Eroc, he served us some thoughts on his Zoey Kash assisted “Green Retrospect (remix)” but he is right back with another profound gem of a single titled “That’s why she”. The self produced song sees the emcee speak on the myriad of issues black women have to go through in life. Through the patriarchal social constructs laid by humans and much more, Ramaj seeks to see women do better and inspire themselves to strive for more than what meets the eye.

Chicago hip-hop artist Ramaj Eroc has always explored through a variety of topics & sounds with his music since he started writing at the age of 11. Born Jamar Core in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood, Ramaj’s frequent moves from the city to the suburbs inspired all of his experiences. Influenced by the likes of Diddy, Kanye West, Ludacris, J.Cole, as well as known Rock band Linkin Park & battle MC Reed Dollaz, his 2011 relocation to Los Angeles changed everything. He collaborated with comedian Kevin Hart on the single ‘Mitches Do That’, as well as a collab with Chicago artist Noname titled ‘I Love You More’. His songs ‘Hooptie’ & ‘N*ggas & B*tches’, has both hit 1 million streams on soundcloud.
