Mount Juliet, Tennessee-based Indie rapper Que K returns with singles “Pray”, and Flashback” taken from his The Faith EP.
The first track “Pray” is a reflective piece that is anchored on the power of prayer. Over a cinematic soundscape, the rapper reminds us that tough times never last and that by working hard and being prayerful, all odds can be overcome.
The second track “Flashback” continues the rapper’s storytelling approach and his religious beliefs. He looks back at his life and the events that shaped him but fortunately, his moral compass is still intact thanks to his upbringing.
“Second Job…. ” is a single by Que K and Garci Gang and together the team deliver an anthemic piece with a punchy trap soundscape and street savvy raps. “Second Job…. ” is taken from the U SHOLDA STAYED DOWN project.
Que K’s “Yaself” is a bravado rap track about heartbreak and moving on from a past relationship. Here, he talks about his ex and the troubled relationship they had and how he had to cut her loose and move on.
