Uprising North-London-based singer and songwriter Mega first broke through the doors with her 2018 smash “Chariot,” and after successful support tours, she went through a personal trauma that left her unable to sing. Fortunately, she pulled through, and now she is back in full swing and with that renewed vigour comes the triumphant single “I Am Enough.” Brimming with energy, soulfulness and unapologetic demeanour, Mega channels her true self on the track. Tired of being tethered to other people’s expectations and ideals, she cut loose things that don’t serve her and proceeds to shine bright on her own accord. Armed with her commanding and sultry vocal runs, Mega embodies the spirit of a woman who has found her center and, in the same vein, reminds listeners to always believe in themselves no matter how difficult it might seem.

Next month, MEGA will perform at the Southbank Centre’s iconic contemporary music festival, Meltdown, with a headline show on June 20th. The 30th edition of the festival is curated by Little Simz and includes artists like Lola Young, Jon Batiste, The Streets, Sasha Keable, Ghetts, and “Queen of Afrobeat” Tiwa Savage.
