Known creatively as King Diego, this rapper and songwriter who describes his niche as translating emotions through songs, is a New York City native by way of Maryland born in Guyana. Catch your breath. And take a moment to open your mind’s eye to one of the more charismatic and captivating performers on the Big Apple scene. Working on his sophomore project, King Diego has found it imperative to release a few visuals for popular songs off his debut album, No Room For Doubt.
“I get asked about my goals a lot and I think I surprise people with the simplicity of my vision. I really just want to inspire people to find themselves by exploiting their full potential in changing the world.”
The start of his journey is a byproduct of an innate feeling that he refers to when asked why he begun. Constant self inventory and reflection has arisen thoughts which can only be shared to a beat. Following his heart, he was led to music specifically Hip Hop. Influenced by 50 Cent, J Cole, and Drake. King Diego knew there was only one option – to go hard. 
“Everything to I want you to know about me, I want you to learn through my music. That might sound crazy, but it’s honest. Like my lyrics. Those should not be taken with a grain of salt.” says Diego.

 

Of this new song, ‘Ego trip’ which was produced by Pitt Da Kid, King Diego simply says that “this song is really just a safe space where i let my ego vent”
