Toronto, Canada-based rapper JRoberts continues his string of releases with his latest effort titled “Peak Mean” which sees him recruiting the finest names in underground hip-hop to join the fray. Over the ominous and menacing soundscape made up of dark strings, haunting keys and crunchy drum grooves, JRoberts connects with Conway The Machine and Showrocka for a hard-hitting verbal onslaught and leads the charge with lines like “Over your head just like an umbrella/You see the rain is pouring down whenever I’m steady dropping these acapellas/ Knocking these fellas like Pesci and Ray, we keep this shit at bay or found astray at Ontario lake“. Conway The Machine and Showrocka complete the job with their distinct unapologetic raps and the rest is a wrap.
