Rising emcee Joey Aich comes through with his latest tune titled “WeDidntBudget “. Employing a mellow, dreamy backdrop provided by producer Gem City Nate, the young emcee paints a vivid picture that represents his present life situation. Taking the risk of focusing on making music his job and finally realizing that it is really hard to make music a career without the necessary capital. He felt he wasn’t progressing at the pace he should as he didn’t have the budget to record his project. He went through a rough patch, befriending many peers couches, feeding on Wendy’s 4 for 4 meals, and frequent Chase Bank customer service representatives requesting to reverse overdraft charges.
All in all these times were necessary for me to grow as an artist and remain hungry. I finally became employed in the middle of 2017 and moved from Cleveland to Columbus allowing me to perform all over the city including main stage at Columbus major music festival,Breakaway, sharing the stage with the likes of Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, Super Duper Kyle!, and more. This song is similar to a dairy and a moment of reflection. 2016 wasn’t my time, 2017 was better, but I’m excited for what is to come.

Joey Aich is a 23 year old hip-hop lyricist born and raised in a small suburb of Cleveland, Ohio — Woodmere Village. His love of melody began at a young age as a regular soloist in his church’s choir, and progressed through high school with involvement in jazz-influenced choir collectives. He was introduced to the pen back in middle school and continued to write throughout high school, but this acted as more of a personal outlet to channel inner frustrations.
