David Byers is a Houston based singer/songwriter who goes by the moniker DAVESTATEOFMIND.  His style is a healthy blend of R&B, hip hop, and soul music which is displayed on his new single “Don’t Wanna”.  Backed by a smooth, lush backdrop, DAVESTATEOFMIND tells a story of being in a shaky relationship and an unrelenting desire to keep the love strong between him and his lady. The track is produced by DAVESTATEOFMIND’s frequent collaborator Chris Hayes who laid a summery beat for DAVESTATEOFMIND’s alluring melodies and passionate flow.
