After releasing two singles and visuals in the past few months, singer/songwriter Danny Kuttner returns with the last single, “Plans,” and her new album Lilly. The 11-track project is a collection of tracks that explore the singer’s multi-cultural background, personal experiences, and her rich musical influence. The album was crafted alongside music producer Gal Oved, who helps bring Kuttner’s vision to life with a wide range of sounds that blend contemporary jazz, alternative pop, with off-kilter electronic aesthetics that are underpinned by layered vocal runs and profound songwriting that listeners can relate to. From the contemplative title track “Lilly” to the self-expressive”Big Mouth” and the plucky tones on “Plans,” where she weaves through the past and present as she thinks about what the future could be. The project leans deep into her fears, hopes and dreams and also shows her cheeky side, but overall, it’s a well-rounded representation of what makes her unique.
