Miles Jenson – “Country Club”
Singer-songwriter Miles Jenson presents the visual for his new single, “Country Club. ” The insightful and somewhat moody tune centers on the media’s bias toward addiction, depending on the demographic. Over a sublime and solemn backdrop, Miles Jenson pours his heart and shares his frustrations on the hypocrisy, underlining classism and racism that serve as fuel for the system that continues to put its boots on the necks of certain folks in society. The song also tackles personal flaws and imperfections of the artist as he gives audiences a balanced viewpoint. The visual has a DIY-documentary style aesthetic that captures the lives of young individuals. The single is taken from his new EP Sunshine Goldmine—a bold, genre-blurring debut EP, slated for release on June 20th. Produced by Grammy-winner King Garbage (Jon Batiste, The Weeknd, Leon Bridges), the soulfully cinematic three-song collection introduces Jenson as a fearless and uncompromising new voice.
Kingdom Kome – “Alkaline State Of Mind”
Miami-based veteran emcee Kingdom Kome drops visuals for the song “Alkaline State Of Mind.” Bolstered by the gripping and menacing backdrop provided by Onaje Jordan, Kingdom Kome speaks on health in the modern world, where most are addicted to processed foods. Inspired by the teachings of herbalist, Dr. Sebi, who stressed regular consumption of Alkaline in a diet, Kingdom Kome gifts the audience with some gems about changing one’s health regimen by doing the right things. He is joined by NY rapper New York’s Nejma Nefertiti, who adds her 2 cents to the track. The visuals are engaging and blends performance tracks with special effects that tap into the health theme of the track.
This track appears on the newly released collaborative LP between Kingdom Kome and Producer Onaje Jordan, Alchemy II. Subtitled Ein Sof (a term originating from the ancient Hebrew mystical practice of Kabbalah), the album, as the emcee says, “is a more spiritually focused album. I wanted to touch on a lot more esoteric and occult sciences on this one.” Additional guest features include General Back Pain, Che Uno, Sean Links, Eloh Kush, Daniel Son, Hakim Green, Lyrik’l, G Fam Black, Killy Shoot, XP The Marxman, Ruen and Kenyattah Black.
WhyDee – “Pronto”

The visuals are engaging and shows WhyDee traversing different landscapes with his crew.

JayWood – “UNTITLED (Swirl)”

The Montreal-based artist delivers a solid jam that explores self-discovery and connection far from the artificial ones formed via our mobile devices.
