Irish Nigerian rap artist and musician OG The Story  shares the video for his new single “Irish Resident.” A riveting tale of life as an African indigene living in Europe. OG The Story sure brings a relatable tale to the forefront with his smooth confident and passionate performance over the nostalgia-inducing backdrop.

The visuals are very cinematic and make use of various backdrops in the city of Dublin while also focusing on the rapper as he takes the listener through his life’s journey as a black man living in the white man’s world.

“Irish Resident” is taken from OG The Story’s new EP Evolution By Any Means. Raised in Lagos and based in Dublin, OG The Story is striving to live up to the meaning of his full name Olusegun Gbadebo, which translates to “The Lord conquers, bring the crown” in Yoruba, which is why, whether it is through the music on this new project, or as a diversity and inclusion lead in his corporate world, or actively tackling youth violence in his community, he is passionate about attaining his highest potential and helping others do the same.

He was also a member of Dublin hip hop and afrobeat collective Millaz, who rose to prominence a decade ago and amassed a cult following across Ireland.
