Singer/songwriter Onyeka makes a splash on our site with her debut video titled “Life”. Over a dark, cinematic backdrop (courtesy of Michio) she breaks down her life experiences ranging from faith, honesty, karma and how everything is connected. She delivers her verses in her own unique manner meandering between passionate rapping and melodic singing to match. She further adds that the hook illustrates the idea of hope, that behind every disappointment in life, there is a lesson to learn and that no matter what people say or do, “I’ll be fine”. The Rockwell directed visual is pretty engaging with its dark and alluring aesthetics that convey a contrast between the physical and the spiritual world.
