Devain Indigo – Mardi Gras

Devain Indigo kicks off the list with some classic boombap sound. Over a head-nodding slapper, the emcee brings out the bars with no remorse.

Trizz – Beep Beep

Taken from his new album “The Attic”, Trizz releases the video for “Beep Beep” featuring Cal-E-Clipz.  In the visual, he takes us deep into his stomping grounds with his right-hand man as the perfect guides. The song is produced by Big Mason who flipped the similar piano sample from 50 Cent’s “Too Hot”. Akheim Allen – Wavs Dnt Die

London rapper Akheim Allen emerges onto the scene with his debut release “Wavs Don’t Die”, produced by Earbuds (Slowthai, Daniel OG). Over a sombre, bouncy backdrop, the emcee kicks ewr piercing lyrics that mix street life, politics and much more.

“Wavs Don’t Die” is the first taster from his upcoming EP.

Juan Donovan – Roses (feat. Adria Jenée x KenTheMan).

Producer/DJ Juan Donovan helps to take it down a notch on his soulful record titled “Roses”. The song features singer Adria Jenée and rapper KenTheMan who both deliver solid performances over a vintage guitar plucks and smooth filtered bass. The single is taken from his debut project, an Alternative R&B/Electronic album called “Merlot & Marijuana”.

Mike Mack – InTrapMentality feat Caleb McCoy, Prough, and Clark D

“InTrapMentality” is the lead single for the compilation project by Mike Mack entitled “Eat, Pray, Hustle.” The song features Caleb McCoy, Prough, and Clark D. all of which are from the Boston area. The production is hard hitting and showcases some solid rapping from the emcees involved.

Canadian’s producer Shagabond and singer Noah deliver their new collaborative single “Arouse” which blends crisp beats and Noah’s dream-boat soulful vocal for the perfect addition to your ‘baby-makin’ playlist.

Jamra feat. Nick Wells – Spin.

Rising singer Jamra delivers her 5th & final release this summer. The laid-back record in question titled “Spin” sees the singer display her vulnerability on wax.  She talks about the struggle of following dreams and making a living, but the prevailing beauty in finding love and emotional support. Spin was written with Relative Music/Kobalt’s producer duo 720 with RnB, atmospheric vibes and a surprise feature of Atlanta rapper Nick Wells.

In 2017 Jamra signed her publishing deal with Relative Music/Kobalt. Summer 2018 Jamra independently released her first project, available now on all streaming platforms.

Saro – Deconnecter

Inspired by an anti-social media movement aimed at building more natural relationships through departure from social technology, ‘Deconnecter’ is a new hip-hop project being released this summer that combines light synths and field recordings from Bristol / Japan to form a lofi bouncing atmosphere, created predominantly as a staging for female vocalists/MC’s. The project is spearheaded by instrumentalist Saul Bell.

Bio:Saro has been producing music for 8 years, in which he has been featured on BBC Introducing and 6 Music and is currently working on his first full-length record – based around themes of over-consumption, egocentrism and digitality. Surreal – Do Better (feat. Apollo Lason).

Los Angeles emcee Jeremy Ian Thomas also known as Surreal delivers a poignant single titled “Do Better”. As the title suggests, he suggests alternative ways for mankind to rise above the strife and do better to make the world a better place. With media becoming more and more homogenized this song is a reverse hypnosis to break the mold and get the listener into the universal flow of understanding and love.

“Words sometimes fail,” says the multidimensional artist. He made the track, wrote the verses and even created the visual that will drop in a few weeks so only having a handful of words over the music was very intentional. “The audience is way smarter than we give them credit for, especially the younger generation. Your vibrations speak louder than your words” Calling us to Do Better, and find a better way doesn’t need specificity because we all know what we need to do.

sensugang – Cyborg.

LA rap duo Sensugang follow up their previous single “Melon Juice” with a solid trap banger titled “Cyborg”. Backed by sparse synth keyboard arrangements and bass-heavy drum patterns, the sub-heavy ‘Cyborg’ provides the perfect conduit for sensugang to deliver their most commanding offering yet. Taken the less travelled road, the duo, Yung Sensu and Gangaroo Pouch comfortably take a seat behind the computer monitor, trading crypto and moving ounces across California through the power of the internet.

The single is taken from their debut EP Chaos Control.
